Sulianti Saroso Infectious Diseases Hospital Services Improved

The Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, visited the Prof. Dr. Sulianti Saroso Infectious Disease Hospital (RSPI) in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, on Thursday (7/23).

"This visit was to strengthen the synergy between RSPI, which is under the Ministry of Health, and the Jakarta Government," said Pramono.

Pramono believes that through improvements to various facilities at RSPI Sulianti Saroso, the services provided will improve. RSPI Sulianti Saroso is strategically located near the Ancol tourist area, Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), and the port area.

Therefore, the presence of health facilities with good quality services in the area is very much needed.

"With so many people coming to JIS, to Ancol and also this area, it will definitely develop," he added.

In addition to improving medical services, Pramono also encouraged the development of cross-sectoral collaboration involving hospitals, universities, and the Jakarta Provincial Government.

RSPI Sulianti Saroso is not only a reference for residents of Jakarta and other areas, but also a reference for cooperation with universities.

"My hope for the future is to be able to collaborate and utilize and improve the ecosystem together with RSPI and also the Ministry of Health," Pramono hoped.

The Director of RSPI Sulianti Saroso, Harli Amir Mahmudji, welcomed the collaboration between the Jakarta Provincial Government and the central government to improve health services at this hospital.

"We have great hopes that we can collaborate with Jakarta even better and we hope that we can advance Jakarta even better," he admitted.

As for information, the hospital stands on 131,000 square meters of land, with a building area of ​​approximately 22,000 square meters. Due to its strategic location, the hospital is easily accessible by various modes of transportation, such as Transjakarta and the KRL station.
